NZ Easter Eggs

The eggs in NZ are brown on the outside and have bright orange yolks inside, and sometimes come with feathers attached.

Claudine tried to find white eggs for dying, but had no luck, so we thought we would try to dying brown eggs and see what would happen.  She bought some food color dye and mixed it with vinegar and water.

We tried all the color combinations (and some crayon) and came up with these.

They worked much better than we thought they would.  I thought they would all just be variations of brown.
