Connecting the studios

Today we had a breakfast for the NZSM viola studio in our home.  We made pancakes, bacon, homemade applesauce and herb tea en famille.  We then skyped the BYU viola studio in the US.  And we talked and played for each other for hours.  They chatted about culture, language, music program differences, sheep, even a tangent on cow tipping!  It was great fun.  Here are John and Frank playing the Vieuxtemps Sonata.  They were good sports to play with a piano that was tuned a half step low!

Here is Charlie playing the Capriccio for everyone.

This is the whole NZ gang watching Kassia play Bach and Caryn perform "9 fingers" by Garth Knox
Evelyn loved Aidan and thought she was a princess.  Aidan put up with it all with great kindness and a gentle heart.
 Frank and John.
 Megan's mane.
Megan performing Bach's 5th Suite scordatura
Aidan playing her own composition.

We enjoyed making virtual friends and hope they can all meet each other in real life one day.
