Art

One of the local artists of Island Bay is Michael McCormack.  We have grown to really love his work.  We see him in the studio near the bay on our walks, painting.  We also run into him at school since his daughter is in Evelyn's class.  His focus is regional art, looking at ordinary things through the lens of an artist.  As we get ready to leave, his work means more to me than ever.  He captures everyday moments and places I will really miss in Island Bay and Wellington.
