In Provo at Rock Canyon School it's called the "Fun Run." In Wellington at Island Bay School it's called "Cross Country Day." The girls have been running several days a week during PE at school in preparation and today was the big event. Depending on their ages, the kids ran around different parts of the field at a neighboring school.
Evelyn warmed up and then ran hard around the perimeter of the field.
Julia's group had to run around the field and then also run into the bush, up and then back down a steep hill.
Jonathan brought his snacks and excelled at "spectating." (Note the "Uruguay Hat" Gary and Nuri.)
Run, run, as fast as you can! Julia and Evelyn, you look great. :)
